About Me

Put simply, I help people be better.

I'm a 20+ year retail professional, with over 8 years as a creative and versatile Human Resources practitioner. My career path demonstrates an ability to take on new and greater challenges, successfully manage multiple agendas, as well as work across divisions and with diverse populations. This is Human Resources at its best-to maximize the people potential of an organization in order to create and sustain value.

Throughout my career I've had the pleasure to work for some of the most successful and recognized brands in the world. I’ve also engaged with business leaders and subject matter experts across a wide spectrum of roles and organizations. This has helped me to be a better asset to the organizations I’ve been a part of.

My current focus is on full employee life-cycle management, from recruitment through exit and beyond. It's my ongoing goal to create memorable experiences for the employees, peers, and companies I serve.

Through my blog and other social media channels I’m able to accomplish several professional objectives:
  1. To keep abreast of workplace, human resource, and social trends.
  2. To continually assess and update my skills as a business professional by exploring relevant topics deeply and with the support of a like-minded and well-educated community.
  3. To work with and support other engaged professionals. This helps to develop and sustain a vibrant, creative, and knowledgeable community, one that is prepared to support itself as well as the organizations they serve, now and in the future.
  4. To inform observers of my thoughts, opinions, and actions taken over the course of my career.
  5. To have fun! If you don't enjoy what you do then why bother?

But enough about me, let's talk about you.

ABOUT YOU

You're a professional much like myself, except smarter and better looking. You currently are, or looking to be, a respected and valued member of your organization. You have great ideas on making it better-more creative; less focused on procedures and tasks; more flexible to the needs of its employees and customers-and just don't know where to start. I can help you with that.

I want to talk with people who are interested in improving themselves and the work that they do, and are hopefully enjoying it as well. So if you’re interested, feel free to contact me.
